For me, these songs conjure up a certain feeling, a kind of lonesome nostalgia that is deeply associated with the end of summer, and August — the month of my birth — in particular.

Each of these songs is a sort-of sonic postcard for a specific memory, place, or time. Most were culled from improvisations recorded late at night, and this collection of recordings stood out for carrying a certain emotional resonance.

Made with voices, loops, field recordings, synthesizers, Lyra-8, pianos, drum machines, guitar, processing and effects.
